- Monitor and tune Oracle Applications and Databases.
- Clone production system to development and test environments.
- Install, configure, and administer Oracle Application Server and/or WebLogic.
- Install, configure, and administer agents for Oracle Enterprise Manager and Grid Control.
- Support communication of needs and solutions between functional and technical staff.
- Backup and recovery of both application foundation and database.
- Upgrades for Oracle Application, Database, Discoverer and etc
- Unix shell or perl scripting.
- 24x7 on-call rotation.
- Responsible for production change control and patch implementation.
- Provide assistance to development and functional areas so changes and testing meets requirements consistent with production.
- Participate in initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling projects that pertain to the database team.
- Ensure documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Understand and comply with IT policies and procedures.
- Understand and adhere to GMP policies and procedures.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
